When parents &quot;take a break&quot; and do something that nourishes them, it actually may be a relief for your child.  When mom/dad are stressed, children tend to think it&#039;s their fault.  Some children may try extra hard to put on a happy face to protect their parents from exhaustion.  If your child knows you can take responsibility for caring for yourself, this allows your child to be themselves - a kid who knows mom and dad can be there for them.</description>
